Incredibles 2

Going in: I heard good things from Rotten Tomatoes but I didn't look at any review.

Popcorn: 8/10. I probably won't see it again just due to schedule. But I will buy it. It's definitely worth seeing in theaters.

Art: 7/10. A lot of the art was reminiscent of the first film. The strength here is the story.

Acting: 2/3. Voice acting is harder to gauge, but there's nothing that made me go wow. That tells you how underrated it is.

Music: 1/2. The new music didn't really stick out. The old score did though. Still holds up after all this time.

Shot Design: 2/2. Some of the action elements are brilliant, especially during the train scene in the second act.

Art Dept: 2/2. The art was well done, as always by Pixar.

Cohesiveness: 2/2. It wasn't a muddled mess and scenes flowed from one scene to the next. There was one part where the pacing helped drive the action.

Story: 4/4. This is Pixar's strength.There are great themes, subplots that tie up, flawed characters. Just an enjoyable story.

Directing: 2/3. This is a pretty good film. It's almost a "3" but just not quite. If I had a 2.5 then it would be a perfect fit.

Production: 2/2. I wouldn't have expected this to be worth watching, but it was really good.
